8th With my mouth still watering I called to tell the store attendants how satisfied I was with the shepards pie. I told her to tell who ever made it was the best shepards pie ever, she seemed very confused at my satisfaction; so I hung up immediately not wanting to ruin such a great moment.

Second a fool and his money are soon parted. In the 4 week period that I visited the store I might have saved 20% to go into Dawson. So it would have taken me an extra 4 hours of driving to get to dawson which made up the 20%. 20% would be their profit margin. They supply fuel, booze food and essential for there market demographic. Which is patch guys like me, truckers and people at camp. Who typically eat junk food so they stock for there demographic.

Fourth they always had what I was looking for. Never once did they go there and not find what I needed to get me through. By the way good job to owners on that one.

Fifth. I wanted a snack one day and instead of buying the junk I bought a 75 cent biscuit. I took a knife and two dishes of butter. Very simple but delicious. Sweet and satisfying better than grandmas. Sorry grandma.

10th and final thought. I had a very pleasant experience at this store. If your careful and pick the right stuff the deals are amazing. Stay away from the booze cause liquor licenses are not cheap and there prices reflect that. If you want candy bars or pop wait for Dawson or GP.

6th when I asked to return the phone charger. The young man tending to the cash explained he would have to ask his boss and if I came back tomorrow between a certain time he said she would more than likely allow a return. I was really impressed. However I didn't get a chance to go back so I used it as rope to tie something down not quite worth 10$ as a fancy strap but that's on me. Not the owner.

However if you live in GP or Dawson and your always saying there's nothing to do around here. Call ahead see if they have shepards pie and get the family out of town for a drive. The horror frost in winter looks amazing! The people may seem confused and dont seem to really know whats going on there but they are so nice and kind which was a pleasent change to the oil patch i was surrounded by that month. Get the family out treat them to a tasty meal for under 30$ cheaper than going somewhere in town. 33$ if you go big and get the biscuits!

First I want to say I visited the store for 4 weeks and thought it to be a little pricy, But that is what you get for convenience. The store is 30 minutes out side Dawson and even farther from Grande Prairie. Your alternative in Rycroft pizza or spending the gas to get to town.

Third I bought a 10$ phone charger that was garbage. But it worked for a few days. You get what you pay for and the convenience factor worked for me until I could get to town and buy a proper one.

I seen the last comment and I just wanted to say I feel the complete opposite. They have amazing food and really friendly staff. I've been working in the area for the last 6 weeks, and stop in almost everyday. Clean and cute little store. They have really good salads, fresh veggies, lasagna cups etc. Kitchen puts out amazing food. Best gas station in GP or on the drive up.

7th On my last day at the rig I figured it's time to splurge I've been out here a month and I could use a little comfort food. I bought 2 Shepards pie which one was more than enough for a meal and only 7.99 that was the golden egg. At a restaurant in Dawson or GP something similar would be 14-20$. I love shepards pie but this was divine which would be an understatement cause I don't know the words to properly describe it. Finished it an hour ago and my mouth is still watering. Oh and a 75 cents sweet biscuit which I say again. better than grandmas. Sorry grandma.
